Position: Shoe Shiner/Server (Part-Time)

Job Summary: Responsible for providing superior customer service and shining the shoes of our customers based on their needs and preferences.

Primary Responsibilities:

Providing superior customer service
Greet customers upon arrival and guide them through our list of products and services
Maintain a presentable and professional appearance for our customers
Assesses the customer’s shoes, cleans them with a brush, removes any old polish or wax with a sponge, applies the correct type of polish by hand, and buffs out the shoe.
Utilize different techniques for different types of shoes and materials
Clean around station, shop, bar, spa, restrooms and assist in washing/drying towels
Up-sell treatments and products, when appropriate
Take an interest in customers
Responsible for managing inventory and supply management
Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
Stock shelves with products
Must be able to drive to other businesses for the purpose of picking up supplies or patron’s food orders
Systems utilization to schedule, view, communicate and check out patrons
Promote services
Assist owner and manager in the marketing efforts of the business
Open and close location
Participate in continuing education programs, trainings and staff meetings
Train new employees as they join our staff
Obtain and maintain required licenses if applicable
Adhere to all regulatory, safety and sanitation policies and procedures
Perform other administrative duties
Perform any other duties assigned by the owner and manager
